Using "namespace" in XML messages communicated with CS OTE

The market operator would like to point out that as part of the optimization of automatic communication with market participants, the production system has switched to doc-free communication for MASTERDATA messages (except for supplier changes) and LDS reports.

Key Information

  • Deployment date: April 2, 2025, at approximately 8:40 AM
  • Production environment: Switched to ID-free (doc-free) processing
  • Affected message codes: 111, 151, 153, 154, 156, 165, 166, 167, 168, 170, 171, 172, 174, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196, 197, 199, 212, 245, 249, 277, 279, 280, 282, 351, 353, 354, 356, 357, 359, 367, 369, 371, 373, 381, 383
  • Reference messages (already using doc-free processing since Feb 1, 2024): 121, 232
  • Sandbox test environment: Functionality available for testing since March 5, 2025

Technical Details

  • Processing uses the standard SAP PROXY to generate output XML
  • To avoid namespace conflicts, prefixes are used with individual elements (n0:, n1:, etc.) according to XML specification
  • Digital signature namespace added: http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig# (currently not used)
  • The element xmlns:prx="urn:sap.com:proxy:CDP:/1SAI/TAS8EE367C9C7DF015F1B9B:740" can be ignored – it only indicates which SAP proxy version was used to generate the message
Recommendation: Although this doc-free format has been used for selected messages in CS OTE since February 1, 2024, we recommend that market participants verify the reception and processing of the newly affected messages on their side.

Thank you for your understanding.
