OTE, a.s., informs electricity market participants that on December 1, 2023, testing of the switching to a 15-minute settlement and trading period in the test environment (Sandbox) will begin.

We kindly ask market participants to pay attention to the overall testing schedule and the information published on the link https://www.ote-cr.cz/cs/dokumentace/dokumentace-elektrina/15minut and participate in the relevant parts of the testing related to their activities.
Under above mentioned link the market participants can get knowledge about overall testing plan and also about introduction of new CDSDATA format for transmitting data from measurements which will be introduced in CS OTE system with effect from February 1st, 2024, and, in the future, continuous measurement data will be transmitted in this format in 15-minute resolution. Testing of the optimized CDSDATA format will be enabled in the test environment (Sandbox) from December 1st, 2023.

We remind you that the switching to a 15-minute settlement (and trading) period in the Czech Republic is planned for July 1, 2024. Testing of individual systems requires cooperation not only on the side of the market operator, but also on the side of market participants communicating with the market operator.
