The Implementing Acts to the REMIT Regulation No. 1227/2011
On 3rd October 2014 the representatives of EU’s member states adopted the Implementing Acts on data reporting of Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (“REMIT Regulation”). Next, follow the adoption of the Implementing Acts by the European Commission and consequently the Implementing Acts will be published in the Official Journal of the European Union, whereas 20 days after publication these Implementing Acts shall enter into force.
The Market Operator kindly informs the market participants that REMIT and the Implementing Acts will trigger additional obligations for the market participants. In particular, the obligation to register with the relevant national regulatory authority (the Energy Regulatory Office in the Czech Republic) and the obligation to report records of transactions, including orders to trade, and fundamental data to ACER (the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators). According to information published by the Energy Regulatory Office the National Register of market participants will be set up on 8th December 2014.
